“Tropical Pulp Still a Long Way From Fiction in German Children’s Books”

Regarding this news on a report by WWF on the use of tropical pulp in German Children’s books. I think this is important in two ways – it indicates that outsourcing of printing to e.g. China does not at all imply that the end product is “better”, and that the publishers who outsource production bear responsibility for the destruction of rainforest, especially now that they know this. It is great that one can use laboratories to determine where pulp comes from!
