In today’s Helsingin Sanomat there is news that bonds in the ‘crisis countries’ are up again because of mistrust (epäluulo). It features a good interview of Nordea’s analyst Jan von Gerich, who argues that the ECB has to come up with new policies and actions. The article also indicates that Bernanke’s statements have rattled markets. But the article forgets to mention, that also Finnish, Dutch and German bonds are equally up, and not by very little. I accidentally wrote at the right moment about this.
Forgetting the economic situation for a moment, I wish you a good Midsummer – the big holiday in Finland!
