Unemployment, the output gap and wage flexibility’

Short and good, this post shows that while wage flexibility (i.e. cuts, in the current situation) may have positive effects on unemployment, it doesn’t remove the problem of output growth (closing the output gap) because this policy does not do anything for restoring demand.
